ARK Test Prep (4-5)

These four interactive digital units for grades 4–5—Virtues, Sacraments & Liturgy, Prayer, and Morality—use the 5E lesson model (Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate, Evaluate) to teach core Catholic concepts through multimedia, partner discussion, and hands-on tasks: students begin by activating prior knowledge with videos or readings, collaborate on interactive slides to build understanding, define and synthesize key ideas in short-answer work (e.g., Theological and Cardinal Virtues, what happens in the sacraments, the Fall of Man, free will and sin), apply learning to real-life examples (categorizing behaviors as Christian love, describing sacramental meaning, identifying prayer obstacles, preparing for Confession), and demonstrate mastery via discussions, multiple-choice checks, drag-and-drop activities, and formative assessments that allow teachers to monitor comprehension in real time.
