ARK Test Prep

Our thoughtfully designed ARK (Assessment of Religious Knowledge) activity packs prepare students at every grade level for the yearly ARK assessment. This set of grade-banded (2–3, 4–5, 6–8) interactive digital lessons uses the 5E model (Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate, Evaluate) and partner collaboration to teach Catholic faith topics—Virtues, Sacraments & Liturgy, Prayer, and Morality—through multimedia, guided slides, discussions, and hands-on activities; younger grades focus on basic definitions and familiar prayers or practices (e.g., Theological Virtues, Liturgy of the Word, Rosary, Creation and the Commandments), middle grades deepen understanding with Cardinal virtues, the full set of Sacraments, types of prayer, conscience formation, and application to real-life scenarios (including Fruits and Gifts of the Holy Spirit, roles of clergy, Works of Mercy, and Precepts of the Church), and across all levels teachers use short answers, drag-and-drop tasks, multiple-choice checks, and peer discussion to assess understanding and monitor mastery in real time.
